[Personality]
Loki appears as a child, but his personality does not reflect that. When he is first seen in the story, Mayura is seen patting him on the head and he is standing there with a rather unamused look on his face. He often regards things with an air of annoyance, but it can also be said that these annoyances such as Mayura's constant desire for mysteries also give him something to look forward to. Barring that, he speaks with every other person as a boy beyond his years and nobody appears to question that. The only time his age is ever questioned is when he mentions that he is a detective. Most of the ones he ends up associating with are gods though, so many of them already know who he is. The only other one that is completely oblivious is Mayura.

He is very serious about being able to return to the world of the gods and has been collecting evil energy from the cases he is sent. The energy he has been collecting is checked often by himself and Yamino. Throughout the series, he wonders seriously why Odin has been sending all of these gods to destroy him and why he is told he does not have a place among the rest of them. He is genuinely upset by this and makes it a goal to figure out why this is as Odin has no intention of telling him why. None of this tends to get in the way of when he is trying to solve a mystery or gets in the way of him protecting those he cares about though.

He is very aware of what is around him. It is very difficult to trick him. When it does happen, half the time or more he realizes what is going on and makes short work of it. He is very perceptive of the vicinity of others. In one episode, he even winks at Skuld who was hiding in a tree several yards away when she thought herself to be hidden. His wink is playful and he does not alert Yamino who sits next to him. Often his discovery of deception is displayed with tongue-in-cheek, only ever truly serious when one of his own is in a serious predicament. Whatever the situation is, it is very difficult to get the upperhand on him through trickery...which would make sense seeing as he is the God of Mischief. He can detect a presence in objects when he is looking at them, not even having to touch it.

Loki, at least when he was in his original form, was quite the womanizer. There are goddess that are in love with him and those that he is implied to have had relationships with. When he temporarily turns into his true form when the evil energy he has been collecting was released, he at first appeared to be completely unaware of the effect he was having on women until he intentionally gives the women a wink which just sets them off. It is yet another aspect of his playful personality. In terms of womanizing though, he pretty much never touches that subject unless the ones he had been with in his original form happen to be there. There is a moment early on when he is in his child form that he is surrounded by women who think he is cute as opposed to later when his adult form gives women another reaction altogether.

One of the most important aspects of this character is that he cares a great deal about those around him. His sons Midgarðsormr(Jormungand) and Fenrisulfr(Fenrir) are forever loyal by his side and he obviously cares about them. It is not just his family, but also Mayura despite her ability to consistently put a stupefied look on his face. Throughout the series, she is constantly being kidnapped, used against Loki, and any other number of things that happen usually due to her inability to see past foul play. Despite this, he never appears to insult her in any way over this. He simply rescues her if she is in trouble and tries to keep her out of the more dangerous situations.

In episode 22, he tells the Norn sisters to pull themselves together and that fate is grasped according to the actions of the individual and it is not predestined. This would account for his continual disbelief over all of their fate in the prophesied Ragnarok. The description of this, at least in the series, is never fully described. It is stated in the end that Ragnarok, for now, has been averted. Ragnarok is, according to Norse mythology, the twilight of the gods and the destruction and rebirth of the world. If Loki is one of the main players in this, his staying behind in the end temporarily halts the beginning of the end for the gods. Though his choice may not have been ultimately swayed by this knowledge, what he said to the Norn sisters makes it seem fitting in the end that he would go against what fate supposedly had in store because of him.

Hel, his daughter, was a character seen more near the end of the series who grew to despise her father over loneliness and seeks to harm him. Despite all of what she does, he forgives her and relents to remain with her forever if that is what she wants. His guilt over her and over Frejya missing him despite that not being something he should necessarily experience any form of guilt over conveys just how deeply he allows things to affect him. It is not just his family though. Mayura is included in this. The guilt he experiences over any of them is enough to trouble him. Where he can be calm and collected, the events towards the end of the series with Hel and his being forced to be alone prior to the ending left him quite saddened and unable to do anything but wait.

Besides all of that serious nature, he has a tendency to be very sure of himself. He smarts off when he knows the nature of something, but intentionally withholds it until the right moment. He smarts off to those that are foolish enough to try and frighten him, flashing a very assured smirk the recipient's way. He does this often when he knows he has the upperhand on somebody else as a taunting gesture. As often as he can be cocky, he can be downright flabbergasted with the antics of people like Mayura and gods like Frey to the point of trying to simply ignore it. In truth, everything in the story is accumulating to everything Loki lives with and what he cannot live without.

There is something to be said for the choice he made at the end of the series to not return to the world of the gods. The last episode of the series he spends a lot of his time around Mayura when she is searching for Loki and does not recognize him in his true form. He is not able to erase her memories as he wanted to and chose to remain there instead. He was always reluctant from the beginning to just go back where he came from, but hearing Meyura speak was what changed his mind. There is probably not just one reason for what changed his mind. Her disregard of his claim to be a god and able to grant her a wish because she does not believe in them could very well be the last straw for him so to speak.

[Abilities]
-One of the more intrusive abilities he has is the ability to cause a person to relive a memory, or rather watch themselves from the outside. The first time he uses this is in episode 3 to Mayura and her father. Loki is also present for all of this and can see all of what happens during it. The person involved in such a vision of the past is not able to touch anything, but are able to see all of the events pass even when it comes to things they were not able to see themselves. Basically they see it from another perspective.
-He is able to lift curses off of objects.
-He appears to have an ability to control snakes and likely other animals with a look. His eyes flash red when he does this.
-He is very aware of possession of objects, people, or something beyond a person. In that respect, he can determine the reality of what somebody or something might be hiding.
-He can put another under a spell, so that they can no longer act on their own. In the series, he did so to keep them out of danger. He also
-His weapon is a staff called Laevetin with a crescent moon shape on the end of it which can be elongated. He materializes this out of thin air between his palms and a flash of light. This staff is quite durable, able to stop sharp objects with ease and destroying stories tall creatures made of various powerful material by severing it in two with a flash of light cutting through it.
-A spell where he captures another being in a mirror and either may release them or destroy it.
-He can focus on an object and teleport it to another location as he did when he was kidnapped and, trying to get Nayigami's attention, teleported a potted plant outside to drop to the ground.
-He is able to summon familiars, though not very well given he is stuck in a child's body. The only familiar he summoned in the series was Ecchan and Ecchan is pretty harmless.

[Other important stuff] It should be noted that Loki can be cursed. It takes another god to be able to do that though. Not that it will come in handy in a place like this, but evil energy can protect him from the effects of curses. Certain amounts of it grant him the ability to transform into his true form. In this place, it would involve being dangerously close to the nightmare creatures of this city to be able to transform into his true form.

In the interest of keeping him nerfed due to his power, transforming into his true form will have a significant drain on him and he will be unable to use his abilities for a couple of days and likely be quite tired. Otherwise, any invasive powers have to be cleared with another player and will tire him out faster than usual.

Ecchan is a familiar he summoned early on in the series. The only thing he has been shown to do is be able to transform into objects like a silly looking recorder that looked like Loki to deliver a message and take directions like writing with a pencil. He can speak, though it is obviously childlike like pronouncing love as wuv. It floats around and generally sits on top of Loki's head. If it is permitted, I would like for Loki to still have him here as Ecchan appears to have the function of mainly just...being there as a friend.

[Sample post]

[Loki dreamed often of floating in a vast sea of darkness where he was always alone or chasing after the image of somebody else. He forgot when that all began to happen. It was somewhere he went when he was alone. He never liked it there. That was where all of those memories were of things he would rather forget about right now. He just wanted to be back at that desk or wait for a meal from Yamino.

Something...was different. There was no real evil he felt off of anything here. There was no darkness as he was familiar with. Reaching over to that device, he turned it on and began to speak.]

Where...am I? Somebody out there has to know what this is.

[Could it be...Odin? It could end up being Heimdall as well. That would not make any sense after everything they all went through.]

Well if nobody wants to give me the entire story, I don't mind doing a little work for myself.

[He imagined this was not going to be as simple as asking. He was not going to hide the fact that he was here right now. If somebody put him here then they had a great deal of power. He wasn't about to sit back and allow somebody to think that he was unaware of that. There were things he could ask that might be able to get somebody to come out in the open to him. As much as he could enjoy a game every now and then, he was not in the mood for one if he could get back to reality much faster.]

But it would be a lot easier if we just talked about it face to face. I can be anywhere you like even if you probably know where I am right now.

[Yamino...Fenrir...Mayura...they were back there waiting for him. He did not have time to waste being pulled here for somebody's game. Something about this did not feel right at all. It was starting to feel like something beyond even Odin himself. How was that possible though? This was too complicated for just anybody...right?]

Last chance...or I really am going to have to start looking for you myself. I'm a detective. This is what I do. All I want to do is leave this place. If it's something I did to make you want to bring me here then...let me know what I did to earn this. If there is a way I can make amends...

[And if this was somebody's idea of a joke then he was going to have to take back all of that and force them to let him back out to reality. He was prepared for that. He just did not want it to come to that.]

[Third Person]

Being alone never really suited Loki and he knew it all too well after what Hel had done. Just the thought of her still, even after everything that happened, brought a tear to his eye. She was still his daughter. She was still a victim of his negligence. If he could have known...what else would he have done though? He had to leave. He was banished. It was true that he had freed his son from the depths of that water, but that was imprisonment. There was never a choice for him...was there? The more he said things like this to himself to reassure himself of what had happened, the more he realized that he would not be over it so easily. Was he just thinking in circles? Was it something that happened after realizing that he was stuck in whatever dimension this happened to be?

Sighing heavily, he hoisted himself up and plopped down to the floor below his short legs. He brushed himself off and wondered if he should perhaps make another announcement on that dreamberry as they called it. He did have plenty of questions and they were not going to answer themselves. Any sort of information could very well end up leading him out of here. There had to be somebody by this. It had to be a god. Who else would be able to keep him here without his being able to perceive just who it might be. It was troubling to him that all he could do here was to sit back and hope that he would not have a dream that would broadcast itself for everybody to see. It was just too much like the sort of things the other gods would do back home to get to him.

Though he really could not include Thor in this...or Freyr. They were both incompetent. Just thinking about him made him sigh with great exaggeration and a look of passing annoyance plastered on his face.

Honestly he would rather see any of them here right now if it meant he was not going to be wandering this strange place for as long as it took to find a way out of here. There had to be a spell...there had to be somebody that he knew around here or else he was truly alone. He frowned. That was something he should not be letting get to him. If he learned anything at all, it was that he had to just go on. Somebody obviously wanted him here. He happened to be a detective, so doing a little detective work would not hurt anything, right? In the end, all he could do was sigh and face the window of his room with a mostly unreadable expression before it turned into a small smile.

"What would Mayura say about now...another strange mystery...right?"

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Loki has a lot of potential to be fun here. The series he comes from is not always serious, but can get very intense and did so in the last disc of the series.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] No metagaming. I absolutely hate it when somebody cannot compromise and cannot lose. On that note, I do not mind discussing with somebody how a fight will turn out :] The people that take OOC knowledge and make it IC knowledge to their advantage without my allowing it is ridiculous.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] I already play here :S
[Any questions?] Though he is in the body of a child, he is really an age old god and acts as such since I pulled him from the anime and not the manga where he acts a little bit more how he looks. Also Ecchan :V Can he has it?
